Add AppDadz testers and complete the 14-day Play Console test

Use this documentation to add the AppDadz Google Group, submit your closed test for review, share the tester opt-in URL, and track the approval process after testing is complete.

Step 1

Select all countries

In Google Play Console, open Countries/Regions, select All countries (recommended), and save the change.

This keeps the closed test available for AppDadz testers in different regions.

Add the AppDadz Google Group

Go to Play Console -> Test and release -> Testing -> Closed testing. Open Testers, choose Google Groups, and add:

Complete your app bundle, store listing, and content rating before sending the closed test for review.

Step 3

Submit changes for review

Review the pending changes and click Send changes for review. After Google approves the closed testing release, the tester opt-in link can be shared.

Approval time can vary. Keep all release details accurate to avoid delays.

Check testing status after testers join

After testing starts, Play Console will show the closed testing status. Use this screen to confirm that testers are active and the 14-day requirement is progressing.

Confirm completion after 14 days

After 14 days of closed testing, Play Console should unlock the next production access step. Review the checklist and continue with the production access request.

Wait for Google approval

Submit the production access request and wait for Google to review it. When approved, Play Console will show the congratulations screen.
